The following items were acquired from the recent battle with the Coalition scouting party.
Body Armor
All Old Style Coalition body armor has the following features:
- Full Environmental Protection (cannot engage without helmet).
- Five hours of oxygen supply that kick in when the filtration systems aren’t up to the environmental hazards (cannot engage without helmet). The system has a state-of-the-art computer control system with extensive sensors to monitor conditions and make adjustments.
- A separate computer system monitors bio signs, which can be directly reported to a medic or doctor.
- A third internal computer acts as a voice-activated data aid that, among other things, will actually scan and read written materials for the wearer. This last feature is helpful, as nearly 85% of Coalition soldiers are illiterate.
- The system also manages the Heads Up Display with multi-optic sensors.
- Communications system with a 10 mile range (built into the helmet).
- Public-address loudspeakers (built into the helmet).
- Thermal vision optics (built into the helmet).
- Light sensitive optics; offsets illumination penalties by 2 (built into helmet).
- Polarized vision; +2 to resist blinding attacks (built into helmet).
- 5 Suits of CA-1 "Dead Boy" Heavy Body Armor (Old Style): The standard issue to Coalition soldiers circa 101 P.A. and still one of the finest combat suits found in service anywhere. With the upgrade currently underway to advanced models within the CS military, more of the older Dead Boy suits are finding their way into the Black Market. CA-1 models provide +6 Armor, +2 Toughness, and Full Environmental Protection (Strength Minimum of d6, 18 lbs). Note: Three of the suits require substantial repairs. A total of 20,250 credits in parts and 3d6 hours of labor are needed to repair the suits to full working condition. Without repairs, two of the suits are at -2 Armor, and one suit is at -1. Furthermore, the Full Environmental System and oxygen supply of each suit will be ineffective until the suits get patched up.
Weapons & Accessories
- 20 E-Clips
- 5 C-12 Heavy Assault Laser Rifles w/ Integrated Scopes (Range 30/60/120, Damage 3d6+1, RoF 3, AP 2 Shots 60, Semi-Auto, 3RB, 7 lbs., each scope has night vision and laser targeting which offsets 2 points of range and/or darkness penalties)
- 5 C-18 Laser Pistols (Range 15/30/60, Damage 2d6, RoF 1, AP 2, Shots 10, Semi-Auto, 2 lbs.)
- 5 Vibro-Knives (Str+d6, AP 4, Mega Damage, 2 lbs.)
- 10 Frag Grenades (Range 5/10/20, Damage 3d6, LBT, Mega Damage, 0.25 lbs.)
- C-500 Rotary Light Missile Platform: (Range 150/300/600, Damage 5d6, RoF 1, AP 13, Shots 8, MBT, Mega-Damage, Mods 2, 200 lbs.) The Missile Platform is equipped with anti-vehicle/anti-monster heat seeking missiles (will keep attacking until fuel runs out; about five rounds). Each missile costs 3,000 credits to replace, and there are four missiles left. The platform can fire volleys of 1, 2, or 4 missiles at once. Attacking with the Missile Platform is a Shooting (Heavy Weapons) roll, and the defender makes an Agility roll at -2. Reloading the platform takes two actions per missile; this is reduced to one action per missile if two people are doing the reloading. The hover system built into the bottom of the platform makes it man-portable; hovers up to three feet from the ground. Without the hover system engaged, the Missile Platform cannot be easily moved or fired. The platform does not move on its own and must be pushed or pulled; usually by a two-man team. Note: The platform has suffered damage, requiring a total of 5,000 credits in parts. Until repaired to full working condition, the platform suffers a -1 to Shooting rolls.
- 5 Coalition Utility Belts: Standard issue for all field personnel, the Coalition Utility Belt has numerous pouches and con-tainment options, carrying a number of very useful items. While not as all-purpose as the NGS2 Basic Survival Pack, the belt does aid in survival and other operations in many ways. Includes a canteen (half gallon), communicator (5 mile range), compass/inertial mapper, firestarter kit (solar-powered lighter and flint & steel), flashlight/signal light (with brigh halogen and infrared options), mini first aid kit (+1 Healing check, only one use), power bars (three, each can sustain a normal human for a day) (4 lbs,).
